If their social media accounts are any indication, the recruits visiting Florida this weekend left with a positive impression of the university and Gainesville.
UF has a verbal commitment from three-star Mount Dora center Brett Heggie, and after Thursday’s visit from offensive line coach Mike Summers it looks like Heggie has the Gators at the top of his list.
With four-star offensive linemen Landon Dickerson and John Simpson, along with a three- star tackle in UF verbal commit Jawaan Taylor, in Gainesville with Heggie, the four took in everything Florida could offer.
On Saturday, Heggie posted a video of Dickerson doing the Gator chomp in the center of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium with the caption “Landon to Florida?”

An hour later, Dickerson posted a picture to his own account of him in a Florida No. 54 jersey.

Simpson posted he was heading to Florida for his official visit, but he’s yet to post an update to his Twitter account.

As his visit was nearing a close, Taylor expressed his appreciation Sunday for the city of Gainesville.
There is NO place in the country like Gainesville I Love This Place!

Georgia commit Jaleel Laguins thanked Gator Nation for showing him a great time this weekend. The four-star linebacker will take his last official visit Jan. 29 to Athens, Ga., to visit with new Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart.

If the Gators have left as good an impression as the posts seem to indicate, UF’s 2016 class will continue to stack up highly coveted recruits.
