The Gators don’t have to worry about defensive end Antonneous Clayton flipping to another school before National Signing Day on Feb. 3.
The four-star prospect out of Vienna (Ga.) Dooly County tweeted Monday he would essentially be shutting down his recruitment and would take an official visit to Florida on Jan. 22.

The 6-foot-4, 218-pound weakside defensive end committed to Florida before the team’s 27-3 win over Georgia. He previously visited Gainesville during UF’s narrow 28-27 victory over Tennessee.
Recently, Clayton competed for Team Highlight in the 2016 Under Armour All-American game on Jan. 2 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. Rivals.com, a sponsor of the game, gave Clayton a “Stock up” rating after the first day of practice.
