Daquon Green was one of several Florida commits in attendance for the Ole Miss game this past weekend.
Green, a four-star recruit for 2017, pledged to UF back in late July at Friday Night Lights.
The Tampa Bay Tech wide receiver called himself 100 percent committed to the Gators following their win over the Rebels.
“It makes me stronger (to Florida),” Green said. “I’m fully committed. I’m not looking at any other schools. All my visits will be here.”
The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder has now attended three UF games this season, but Saturday’s showdown with Mississippi trumped them all.
“I loved everything about it,” Green said. “The atmosphere was just crazy. I’m ready to play for the orange and blue.
“I thought Florida would win, but I was expecting a good matchup. The Gators just played more physical and they wanted it more. The dedication they put into it is why they got the W.”
After seeing four different pass catchers score against the Rebels, Green is looking forward to playing receiver for UF.
“It looks real nice,” Green said of the offense. “I know I’ll have a chance to play right away, possibly start. I mean, look at Antonio Callaway. I just want to let everyone know what I can do and make a big impact.”
