RB Mark Thompson, Dodge City C.C.: Thompson didn’t eclipse the 200-yard mark again, but he had 170 yards rushing and four touchdowns to lead his team to a 38-21 win over Independence C.C.
WR/TE Isaiah Johnson, West Palm Beach Dwyer: Johnson took a screen pass 77 yards to the house, scoring one of Dwyer’s three touchdowns before its game against Wellington (Fla.) Palm Beach Central was called at halftime, 21-0, due to lightning.
DE JaQuan Bailey, Jacksonville Raines: Bailey registered six tackles (two for loss), a pair of sacks and a fumble recovery as his team routed Jacksonville White, 49-10.
DB Quincy Lenton, Meridian (Miss.): In a 28-0 win over Macon (Ms.) Noxubee County, Meridian’s first victory of the season, Lenton caught three passes for 25 yards, had 45 yards in the return game and made five tackles, not including this crushing blow to break up a pass.
