Mark Thompson didn’t have to do much for his team in week one.
The Florida running back commit rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown as Dodge City C.C. cruised to a 51-21 victory.
Thompson turned it on this past Saturday.
With his team facing a tougher opponent, Thompson had a much bigger workload. The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder rushed for 208 yards and a score on 35 carries, twice as many touches as he had in the season opener.
Thompson, the nation’s top-ranked JUCO back, led his team to a 40-35 win over Garden City C.C.
