Florida likely had big news coming on the recruiting trail later this month.
Now, UF and colleges from around the nation will have wait.
Four-star wide receivers Binjimen Victor (6-4, 173) and Cavin Ridley (6-2, 195), who planned to make their verbal commitments on June 22, have decided to push back their announcements.
The standouts from South Florida were expected to choose the Gators. Victor visited Gainesville during the spring and Ridley camped at UF last week.
Both named Florida in their list of top 5 schools, but the Gators had gained a lot of momentum recently. They’re still considered the team to beat for Victor and Ridley, but their recruitments won’t shut down anytime soon.
I will postpone my college announcement on 6/22. I will continue to go through the process & remain open to ALL SCHOOLS
