Florida’s top quarterback target makes his decision Friday.
Top-100 overall recruit Dwayne Haskins (Potomac, Md./Bullis School) will reveal his college choice during a live announcement at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN’s RecruitingNation.com.
His finalists are Florida, Maryland, Notre Dame, Penn State, Rutgers and Virginia Tech. His recruitment is expected to come down to the Gators, Scarlet Knights and Terrapins, with the in-state team being the favorite to land the 6-foot-3, 198-pounder.
Maryland has the majority of predictions on the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
Haskins visited UF in late March but has since taken a pair of trips to both Maryland and Rutgers. As a junior, he threw for 1,936 yards, 22 touchdowns and five interceptions on 159-of-259 passing.
If the Gators don’t land Haskins, recently offered quarterback Dillon Sterling-Cole might become their No. 1 priority at the position.
