Over the past month, the offers have been rolling in for cornerback Da’Vante Davis of Miami Booker T. Washington.
He committed to Syracuse on May 6, then received a dozen offers before backing off his pledge May 29.
Davis added another school to his offer list Friday following his performance at Florida’s 7-on-7 tournament.
“(Will Muschamp) was telling me I had an offer, and they liked my size and how I moved,” Davis said. “It was big. I felt like I did good. Hard work pays off.”
The 6-foot-2, 183-pounder enjoyed seeing The Swamp, and Muschamp’s track record with defensive backs also appealed to him.
“I like the stadium. I was impressed with it and the history with the DB’s … They produce some pretty good DB’s.”
Davis claims no leaders at this time, and elite programs such as Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and Ohio State are pursuing him heavily. He still seems shocked at how his recruitment has blown up.
“It all happened fast,” he said. “I’m just going to take my time and make sure I pick the right place so I can make it to the next level.”
“I probably will commit a little bit before signing day, probably after all of my officials.”
Great day in Gainesville !!! Leaving with an offer

Nice to see we’re finally getting looked at by at least a few Booker T. prospects.
