For the second consecutive weekend, Florida will have more than a half dozen big-name recruits on campus.
Coconut Creek Monarch teammates Shawn Burgess-Becker (6-o, 194) and Calvin Ridley (6-1, 189), both Rivals100 members, are visiting today. Alabama and Miami are currently considered the leaders for them.
Florida Atlantic running back commitment Jordan Scarlett (5-11, 205) also made the trip to UF today per 247Sports. He’s from Fort Lauderdale University School, the same high school as UF cornerback signee Quincy Wilson.
Seffner Armwood defensive end Byron Cowart (6-3, 257) and Glen St. Mary Baker County defensive end CeCe Jefferson (6-2, 244) are visiting together Saturday. The five-star prospects and close friends attended Florida’s basketball game against Kentucky on March 8 and appear to be favoring the Gators at this time.
A trio of top targets from the Tampa area — receivers Deon Cain (6-1, 190) and George Campbell (6-3, 183) and quarterback Dwayne Lawson (6-5, 210) — have plans to make it to Gainesville this weekend as well. UF hosted all three earlier this year and sit near or at the top of their leaderboards.
Florida receiver commit Tristan Payton (6-0, 182) of Jacksonville First Coast is also scheduled to visit Saturday.
Great work Zach. Keep it up bra.
Fantastic list of offensive talent…the Orange and Blue game/weekend will be BONKERS!!! LUV UF!
Zach,
Can you guys monitor (delete) the clowns on this site like snowprint and shariff. Every post you make turns into a pissing contest with those guys as the ring leaders. It really takes away from the content here.
Thanks for the heads up, 5wideU.
I agree 5wideU!!
Zachary, I agree with 5wide. I read this site often but seldom post. When the snarky comments start with those two, I fold up my tent and go home. I really enjoy your articles and look forward to seeing more. Thank you.
Ive got an even better idea with dealing with people on here that irritate you…………..ignore them. Some people on here need to act like adults and learn to ignore things that people write on the internet. Quit whining, be a little mature, don’t pay attention to them if you don’t like what they write, and quit running to Zach like children. He has a job to do. Simply don’t read posts of theirs if you already know the post is going to be worthless. Next people will be crying about “cyber bullying” on here. Its a little sad.
Zack, I agree with 5wideU also. Those 2 guys ruin all your hard work.
good work zack,,go gators!!!
Some great news on Walker for Donovan’s team next season. I hear Jon Horford is transferring and will be eligible next year, as he is going to graduate school. Any idea where he is transferring? Al’s little brother could fit right in, I think.
