Florida coach Will Muschamp and his staff will host nine official visitors in Gainesville this weekend.
A third of the recruits are members of UF’s 2014 class in Immokalee athlete J.C. Jackson, Perry Taylor County tight end Moral Stephens and Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna defensive tackle Khairi Clark.
Clark and Stephens are both 100 percent committed to the Gators, while Jackson’s pledge is in question. His uncle says he’s solid to Florida, but his plans visit to Florida State later this month suggest otherwise. The UF coaches will do their best to prevent that trip from happening.
As the Gators try to keep one of their commits away from FSU, they’re also attempting to steal one from the Seminoles.
Miami Booker T. Washington quarterback, who has been committed to Florida State since the summer, is visiting UF after receiving an offer last week. He trips set up this month to Auburn and Miami as well.
Florida gets the last crack at Havelock (N.C.) running Derrell Scott, who will make his decision Jan. 27. He may be the most realistic option remaining at the position for UF, but South Carolina and Tennessee are currently his leaders.
Plantation American Heritage receiver Isaiah McKenzie was offered by Muschamp after his impressive performance in the Under Armour All-America Game, and now the Gators get his first official visit. His recruitment looks like it will come down to Florida and Notre Dame, which hosts him Jan. 31.
Tampa Jefferson athlete Deiondre Porter decommitted from South Florida on Thursday, three days after getting an offer from UF. The Gators are recruiting him as a receiver/defensive back, and he’s someone who might pull the trigger this weekend.
The last two visitors are Miramar offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste and Pensacola West Florida Tech defensive end Rocel McWilliams, a Missouri commit. Florida has a couple targets ahead of them at their positions, but both appear to be high on the Gators.
Zach, is there real interest from treon or just taking advantage of the trip to see a new campus? Also, do we know who will be spending time with JC while he is one campus, which players? Thanks.

How good is Treon Harris, and does he fit the type offense that is going to be installed. Because with this type offense you need at least two good QB’s for depth. GO GATORS!!!!

Can’t wait to see what this class look like on Nat signing day. So many good recruits that we have really good shots. And we already have such a great class. Only problem is we don’t have enough room for all the guys we have realistic shots at. Won’t be long at all before Florida is back on the National title trail again! Go Gators!
Cajuste is our’s to lose, but not sure of him because he’s unranked and I have seen film of him dominating lesser competition but that;.s it. 6′ 5″ and needs about 30 pounds to be a quality OT IMO, but he has the frame, and Mike Summers seems to see something in him.
I like that he wants to be a Gator but I think he’s a back-up plan in case we don’t get Prince IMO.
