Florida’s first weekend of spring football is attracting some of the nation’s top prospects to Sanders Field.
The Gators are expected to host over a dozen unofficial visitors for Saturday’s practice, which is open to fans and media.

All eyes will be on Jacksonville Bishop Kenney wideout Ahmad Fulwood, who is making his second trip to Gainesville in three weeks with a close friend and UF safety commitment Nick Washington.
The 6-foot-4, 197-pounder is a high priority for the coaching staff, which offered him back in the summer.
The Gators appeared to be the initial favorite for Fulwood, but some out-of-state visits and Charlie Weis’ departure resulted in them not making his top five (Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State).
But after visiting with his mother and Washington on March 3, Florida climbed back into the race and could make up some more ground this Saturday.
Some other top visitors include Immokalee cornerback and former Tennessee commitment Mackensie Alexander, Marietta, Ga., Walton offensive lineman Brandon Kublanow (Will Muschamp’s personal recruit), and Wyomissing, Pa., linebacker Alex Anzalone (arrived on Thursday).

The 2013 class is already looking good. Should be top 3, but it will be hard to take the top spot away from Alabama.
If we finish top 5 I’m satisfied, top five classes plus great coaching equals championships something we all know about. Im excited Florida will be back very soon
You can already see the difference between last year and this year and the relationships that have been getting developed. We are already WAY ahead of the curve as far as early verbals. Now… With a good performance this season we will close out recruiting process stronger as well. The plan is coming together and the foundation is being built.
Year One was about damage control. Year Two was about having an extremely solid class and not losing anyone. Year Three look to be about pushing us back to the top.
Now, if we can coach ’em up, things are looking great for Gator Nation!
