Lots of questions this week, but still no catchy name. No worries, let the questions be answered!

I see where the number one prospect by some recruit sites, Seantrel Henderson, is possibly interested in the Gators. Are we going after him hard, and if we are, do we have a legitimate shot at getting him to Gainesville?

The last time I talked to him, Henderson made it clear that while he’s interested in Florida’s program, UF’s coaches haven’t been pursuing him for whatever reason. From what I’ve been told, there hasn’t been much headway made by Florida’s staff and one source told me that he doesn’t think Florida has much of a chance.

Do we have any interest in Brian Vogler? He looks like a monster — 6-foot-7, 246 and runs a 4.65. His measurements sound like a stud TE or DE.

Honestly, there hasn’t been much talk about Vogler and Florida. I talked to someone who’s followed him some this year and talked to him the other day, and he said that Florida hasn’t offered and might not because of the tight ends on board and the defensive ends that are still out there. Oklahoma and Alabama lead for him and unless something drastic happens, I don’t see Florida getting too involved or beating out either.

This week Florida added two WRs in Solomon Patton and Stephen Alli. I know we have been high on the list for a few South Florida prospects at WR. How many WR do we end up taking this year, and who do you see as favorites to be in this class?
– gator1law

My guess is that Florida takes probably five receivers in this class. The favorite has to be Pahokee’s Chris Dunkley, who is supposed to work out at Friday Night Lights in July. Kadron Boone has had Florida at the top for a while, and there’s reason to believe that he’s been a silent for a while as well. McDonough, Ga., Henry County’s Markeith Ambles is another name to look out for. He’s said for some time that Florida is one of his top schools and has been on campus a few times. Quinton Dunbar (Miami, Booker T. Washington) has Florida as his top school and has been pursued pretty hard by Florida’s staff. A few other names include: Kenny Stills (Carlsbad, Cali., La Costa Canyon); Kenbrell Thompkins (Torrance, Cali., El Camino C.C.) and Ivan McCartney (Miramar). Look out for O.J. Ross as well. He was one of the top receivers this week at UF’s camp.

Do you the Gators lead for Dunkley, even though Florida has gotten two WR commitments in the last two days?

– ndGator

It’s no secret that Dunkley likes Florida. All spring he said the Gators were at the top, then he kind of got quiet about recruiting. From what I’ve heard, Florida is No. 1 for him and I talked to someone today who said he would bet on Dunkley being in Florida’s class this year.

Any updates on how Florida is doing in recruiting the top 2010 backs like Mack Brown and Lache Seastrunk? I heard earlier Brown had high interest, what’s the story now?

Brown has made it clear that Florida is his leader since I first met him in early spring. He’s supposed to make a decision at the end of the summer and I would be shocked if he didn’t pick Florida. Each time I talk to him, he says that Florida is his leader. It’s kind of a weekly question for him and he answers it the same way each time. As for Seastrunk and a guy like Michael Dyer (Little Rock, Ark., Little Rock Christian), Florida is listed as a school of interest for both, but I wouldn’t put too much stock into it. Dyer doesn’t even have Florida in his top six. Word is that Seastrunk is heading to Gainesville for FNL, but I think Auburn is a major player.
