Florida’s 2021 class kept the momentum rolling Friday by flipping a Ocala prospect from in-state rival Florida State.

Jake Slaughter, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound center from Trinity Catholic, flipped his commitment from FSU to the Gators via his Twitter account.

Gators coach Dan Mullen retweeted Slaughter’s message soon after.

Ranked the No. 9 center prospect by 247Sports’ composite ranking, Slaughter also holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn and Miami among his 23 scholarship offers.

With Slaughter’s flip from the ‘Noles, the Gators hold commitments from 22 prospects in the 2021 class. Florida landed safety Donovan McMillon and in-state wide receiver Marcus Burke last weekend.
