Florida is tentatively expected to open Fall camp Aug. 7, where the program will look to replace multiple starters across the board. With production readily available at the wide receiver position, the depth chart remains to be seen –– although there’s now one UF wideout unlikely to vie for a spot.

Florida redshirt freshman wide receiver Dionte Marks entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal Wednesday, the Gainesville Sun confirmed. Matt Zenitz of was the first to report Marks’ decision.

The former three-star product out of DeLand, Marks signed with the Gators during the 2019 early signing period and arrived on campus the following June.

Marks redshirted and didn’t record any stats, although he did get on the field during Florida’s victories over UT-Martin and Towson. According to the 247Sports composite, Marks was ranked the No. 489 overall prospect in the 2019 class.
