The Gators are one below the 85 limit. Room to add a five-star running back in March.
Thanks Robbie — I was beginning to think we dropped football and I didn’t get the word!
What’s the deal with that guy? Did Georgia rescind its offer to him or did he spurn them? If the former, why?
There’s an explanation for why a 5* RB has yet to find a landing spot. Parting ways with UGA is only part of the story.
My guess is the kid may have academic qualification issues. We’ll know for certain if he eventually ends up going the JC route.
He had some discipline issues his senior season. I think he was even suspended from the state championship game, which his team won. I can’t verify this, but I’ve heard that there are some concerns out there about the company he keeps, including some family members. All I know is Tennessee wants him badly, and apparently so do the Gators. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in March — and beyond.
