After Saturday’s talent-filled Junior Day, indications emerged that the Gators would soon add a talent wide receiver prospect to their list of committed prospects.
By early afternoon Monday, speculation came to fruition when Daejon Reynolds, a 6-foot-2 pass catcher out of Logansville (Ga.) verbally committed to Florida.
Happy Birthday to me….

Reynolds, ranked a four-star prospect and the No. 16 athlete in the 2021 class by 247Sports, spent Saturday in Gainesville after taking a brief unofficial visit Friday to Florida State. Less than 48 hours later, Reynolds – who also holds scholarship offers from 11 other SEC programs – was a Gator.
With Reynolds’ commitment, which, per usual, is non-binding until he signs with a program, Florida’s 2021 class is currently ranked No. 5 in the nation and sits atop the SEC.
Welcome to the Gator Nation, Daejon! You will play an important role in helping Florida regain its former (and soon to be again) status as the SEC East champion and the SEC champion. GO GATORS!!!
