Florida up to No. 6 in Associated Press rankings

Florida moved up a spot to No. 6 in the Associated Press college football rankings Sunday.

LSU finished the regular season ranked No. 1 in The Associated Press Top 25, followed by Ohio State, Clemson and Oklahoma.

The Top 25 teams in The Associated Press college football poll, with first-place votes in parentheses, records through Dec. 7, total points based on 25 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 25th-place vote, and previous ranking:

  1. Glad to see the media got it right, for a change, because the CFP committee’s final ranking was a bad joke! Five of the top ten hailing from the SEC, with the LSU at #1 and UF at #6 is just about right….. for now! 😉

    Thankfully, the AP and Coaches’ polls will be the ones that matter come opening day of 2020.

  2. They got it close to right, Auburn should have been ahead of Al. The CFP poll IS a joke. In the past they had it about right but this year, near the end they have sucked! Anyone who really knows footabll and have watched those teams play knows UF is #6 not #9 AND THAT THOSE biG 10 AND pAC 12 TEAMS DONT BELONG UP THERE!
