ESPN announced on Saturday night that its weekly traveling shows College GameDay will be making its way to Gainesville to broadcast from the site of the top-ten, SEC contest between the No. 9 Gators and No. 7 Auburn Tigers.

GameDay will be back in Gainesville for the first time since Oct. 20, 2012, when No. 3 Florida defeated No. 9 South Carolina, 44-11. Location of the show will be announced later in the week.

This will be the second time this season the Gators have been featured on ESPN’s marquee show after GameDay came to Orlando for their opening weekend 24-20 win against the Miami Hurricanes.

Saturday will mark the 40th time Florida has appeared on GameDay, the third highest total in the country. The Gators’ 25-14 (.641) record ranks fifth-best in the nation for schools who have played in 10 or more GameDay contests.

    • Except for the throw backs, I’m totally down with it too, GI. I expect some Dan Mullen special work arounds on offense, and having our starters back on defense should be key ingredients to the restoration of “Chomp-chomp — Fear the Swamp”.

If we go in with the right attitude and play with enough intensity to knock Auburn’s little dingle dangle in the dirt.
