A great day for me consists of: Playing Fortnite.

B est play you have been a part of going into your senior season: Eighty-yard touchdown run against Williston. It was the second game of last year’s season.

C oach Cedderick Daniels’ best words of advice for me: Stay humble.

D ay of game, I do what to prepare myself? Listen to music and eat Skittles.

E arliest sports memory? Getting crackbacked when I played football in Miami in third grade.

F avorite player to watch and emulate: Cam Newton. I like just his play style and how big he is.

G ame-winning scenario I have dreamed of: Either running a game-winning touchdown or throwing a game-winning touchdown pass.

H appiest day in my life was when … I got my first football offer. That was ninth-grade summer to Southern Miss.

I nteresting thing about me away from football: I can do backflips. Sometimes (do it before game). On Friday? (I might).

J oker on the team: There’s a lot of them … Emanuel Fort and Todarias Sumpter. They are just the goofiest on the team.

K ey to keeping my composure when things are not going well: Just understanding that everyone is watching me and staying calm.

L ike listening to … rap music.

M ajor I plan pursuing: Criminology.

N FL aspirations … did you always have that? Yes I did.

O ne person in my life who inspires me most: My mom. She is hard working.

P icking the Gators for college, what was the determining factor to stay in Gainesville? Just feeling at home every time I stepped on campus. My dream was to go to college. Being a Florida Gator is great.

Q uiet time activity: Playing Fortnite.

R easons why Eastside will end Buchholz’s 6-game win streak over the Rams on Friday? We have been working hard and are determined in ending that game streak.

S port you like to try but haven’t? Swimming and water polo.

T raining regiment? Passing stuff.

U nder pressure, do you feel a sense of that as a senior? No sir, I feel no pressure.

V acation spot I would love to go: Dubai.

W hat has the recruiting process been like? It has been crazy, but I’m glad it has calmed down now.

X factor: Did you ever consider transferring from Eastside? A couple of times, but I stuck with it and followed the process.

Y our legacy, how important is it to you to succeed wherever you go? It is important to succeed wherever I go. It’s very important to me because I just want to be successful.

Z ombie fan (Walking Dead, World War Z, Z Nation)? No. Do not like zombies.



  1. Glad you put him back on our front burner — I have a feeling this kid is going to be a stud muffin by 2021! Sure would like some more particulars on how he does this fall in his senior year, as well. Go Gators!
