Florida’s highly ranked 2020 class took a hit Thursday with the de-commitment of Jaheim Bell.
A 6-foot-3, 213-pound athlete out of Valdosta, Georgia, Bell pledged to UF during the spring game, but that didn’t stop former Gators coach Will Muschamp from escalating South Carolina’s pursuit of the three-star prospect.
While several recent Florida commits noted their intentions to “shut it down” after committing, Bell remained open and took an official visit June 7 to South Carolina.
With Bell’s departure, Florida’s 2020 class stands at 17 commits.

The Young and the Recruited
OK by me, if he would rather play for Muschamp, we don’t need him.
Mushy’s Sales Pitch: “There’s no pressure here. No one expects me to ever win anything.”
Corey, SHP, G-6, and Jaws – all 4 of you had very good one liners…LOL. Maybe Bell got caught up in the star system and figured he would have a better chance to start there. No matter the reason, what that does is make room for a student athlete that wants to be here. GO GATORS!!!
Gator Bait!!!!
If we plan on competing with Saban and Dabo we cannot settle for a 3 Star anyways. Mullen and staff I believe, can make good players great. It is time the Florida to Tuscaloosa and Clemson train gets derailed.
Well losing a three star means there is more room for a four star. Muschamp is good at stealing three stars anyway. Go Gators!
Up one day and the next your down. I don’t caught up in the day to day drama of recruiting. It’s the end result and players that will wear the orange and blue that matter.
