The Florida Gators are going to have a chance to show early in the season if they’re ready-for-prime-time players. UF’s first three games are all going to be played under the lights, in prime time, the SEC revealed Thursday.
The Aug. 24 season opener against Miami in Orlando has a 7 p.m. kickoff and is being televised by ESPN.
Two weeks later, on Sept. 7, the Gators will open their home schedule against UT-Martin at 7:30 p.m., either on ESPNU or the SEC Network Alternate Channel.
On Sept. 14, the Gators open their road schedule at Kentucky with a 7 p.m. kick on ESPN.
UF’s annual game against Georgia in Jacksonville will again be televised by CBS with the traditional 3:30 p.m. start time.
