Three Florida players are on the coaches’ All-SEC list that was released by the league Tuesday, the day after the Associated Press team came out.
Junior defensive end Jachai Polite is on the coaches’ first team, while senior offensive tackle Martez Ivey and sophomore cornerback CJ Henderson are on the second team.
Henderson was left off the AP team, which is voted on by members of the media.
Polite and Ivey were also on the AP team.
Chauncey-Gardner?
It was a joke that the media left Henderson off of their teams. Clearly, the coaches understand that Henderson is a total lock-down corner and one of the best DBs in the country. He, Wilson, Dean, Stewart, and Burney should combine to provide the Gators with one of the best defensive backfields, not only in the SEC, but in the country next season.
The Gators must earn respect – the process began thisi year. Let’s continue to build this team up, recruit and train, train, train until the Gators finally return to elite status – GO GATORS!!!
Polite get all the headlines because of the QB socks, but agains he run he is average at best. Zuniga on the other hand does a good job against the run and a better than average pass rusher. He deserves more credit
