Florida’s game at Mississippi State on Sept. 29 is scheduled for a 6 p.m. ET kickoff and air on ESPN, the SEC announced Monday.

The road trip to Starkville marks coach Dan Mullen’s return to face his former team. This is the Gators first meeting with the Bulldogs since 2010.

Florida holds an all-time record of 33-19-2 over Mississippi State, with the Gators losing the last meeting 10-7 under Urban Meyer.

Also Monday, redshirt junior Jabari Zuniga was named SEC defensive lineman of the week. Zuniga was a force to be reckoned with on the Gators defensive line against Colorado State. The junior started his third straight game at defensive end and produced a career-high 2.5 sacks for a loss of 25 yards.

He also recorded five tackles and a quarterback hurry. He was part of a defensive line that sacked Colorado State’s KJ Carta-Samuels five times throughout the game and recorded five sacks for the first time since the 2017 season opener against Michigan. He now has 10 tackles on the season and pushes his career sack total up to 11.5.
