Florida’s football opener against Charleston Southern two weeks ago will be featured on the CMT network Saturday.

Bonnie Bernstein, the former ESPN and CBS commentator, has launched her own production company and the first project is “Country on Campus.” It features country singers who are big college football fans.

The first one will be Saturday at 9 a.m. on CMT and will be about Gator fan Dustin Lynch’s first game at The Swamp.

Lynch is a Florida fan because of his father Chuck, who was a walk-on defensive back at UF in the late 1970s. There are cameos appearances in the show by Gator greats Steve Spurrier, Tim Tebow and Cris Collinsworth.

Dustin Lynch has had five No. 1 country airplay songs including “Small Town Boy” and “Where It’s At”.

  1. Dustin Lynch…never heard of him. I’ve heard of Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Tammy Wunette, Loretta Lynne, Dolly Parton, etc…. This guy must not be that big of a deal.
