Arizona Cardinals (Redskins 24, Cardinals 6)

D.J. Humphries – OL – 4th year – Started the game at left tackle.

Atlanta Falcons (Eagles 18, Falcons 12)

Keanu Neal – S – 3rd year – Started the game and recorded two total tackles, one solo and one assisted. Suffered a knee injury and is out for the season.

Brian Poole – CB – 3rd year – Started the game and tallied five solo tackles, with one sack and a pass defense

Carolina Panthers (Panthers 16, Cowboys 8)

Bryan Cox Jr. – DE – 2nd year – Tallied two tackles, one solo

Chicago Bears (Packers 24, Bears 23)

Trey Burton – TE – 5th year – Hauled in one pass for 15 yards.

Jonathan Bullard – DE – 3rd year – Tallies one solo tackle.

Cincinnati Bengals (Bengals 34, Colts 23)

Carlos Dunlap – DE – 9th year – Started at defense end. Collected two solo tackles, a sack for eight yards, a hit on the quarterback and a pass defense.

Cleveland Browns (Browns 21, Steelers 21)

Antonio Callaway – WR – Rookie – Appeared at wide receiver and had one target.

Dallas Cowboys (Panthers 16, Cowboys 8)

Deonte Thompson – WR – 6th – Started the game. Caught three passes for 27 yards.

Max Garcia – G – 4th year – Appeared at guard.

Brandon Powell – WR – Rookie – Inactive for week one.

  1. Wow I am totally amazed at how great a db Quinton Dunbar has turned out to be in the nfl considering he only played at wide receiver for the gators. Truly amazing. Given the gators lack of depth at db this year, I think Mullen has the right idea. He may have to move a receiver over to db this year too. I know Iverson Clement who was recruited as a rb has practiced at db and give him props for being a team player. Not sure if we have any receivers on the roster now though that could make that transition.

  2. G8rGuy – I agree with everything in your post. Thank you GvilleSports for these former Gators lists and weekly stats. Rob – There has to be a Gator receiver or running back besides Clement who isn’t getting many touches and has the skills to play DB.
