Florida senior defensive lineman Cece Jefferson remains suspended for Saturday’s 7:30 match-up with Kentucky, the Gainesville Sun confirmed.
Jefferson, who missed UF’s season opener, is expected to return to the field Sept. 15 to face Colorado State.
Florida suspended seven players, including Jefferson and sophomore wide receiver Kadarius Toney prior to kick-off of UF’s 53-6 victory over Charleston Southern.
All but Jefferson went through warm-ups with the team prior to kick-off.
Man this is mind boggling. You’ve got a kid, you come back for your senior season to try and put yourself into a better draft position and provide for your family and this is how you open the season? Get it together Cece.
Come CeCe go to class. You are hurting our team with your absense.
Based on his lack of production thus far at UF, he will be a marginal NFL prospect at best, so he is hurting himself as much as his team. Sad.
