    • That’s what I don’t get. What receiver would look at the last few years and think yeah, that should be a great fit for me. And now that Mullen comes in they think it’d be worse? Maybe they don’t like to block. Their loss.

  1. We don’t get the true inside info, since Mullen can’t tell his side. But with this guy being the 119th ranked WR, I suspect maybe we “decommitted” from him first. Mullen likes big, tall WRs, and most that he is recruiting so far fit that mold.

  2. Exactly Steve….he may have not been contacted by Mullen, which is his prerogative as well. Secondly..opening your recruitment means you are looking at other options as well. Do what YOU think is best for your personal situation young man. Best of luck to you..

  3. He is too short for Mullen’s offense and I don’t think Alabama is beating down his door. FSU, Tennessee, Arkansas, etc are all in new coaching staff mode so where does he think he will be? Oh well. We need better receivers and not more Mac guys that just run to a spot and stand there waiting for the ball.

  4. Your all catching on…Mullens knows what he is after. I think he’ll hustle a great class before it’s over…watch. I don’t think we know how lucky we were to land Mullens. I wasn’t a fan of his until I heard the press intro.

  5. Agree, no biggie. Look at WR players Mullen is targeting now. The JUCO player could impact out of the gate. Seeing a big difference already in the types of players Mullens is looking for compared to last Coaching staff. Very encouraging to say the least.
