Former Gator great Danny Wuerffel, who quarterbacked UF to four consecutive SEC titles and a national championship, has been selected to the 2017 SEC Football Legends class.

he always was an SEC Legend
Danny Wonderful. The man. So enjoyed watching this master at work. Can’t believe this ate now the good old days.
Those are now the good old days.
Danny was the most accurate passer I ever watched…no arm strength but he would lob the ball in there with precision and timing EVERY TIME. He made Gator football fun.
A legend off the field as well as a man and role model, very much in the same vein as Tebow. Danny is someone that the “Knucklehead Nine” would do well to emulate going forward!
Danny “wonderful” Wuerffel now there is a Quarterback character and a good football player, person and brother in the Lord
Why did this take 21 years? There are some on that list elected in much less time, and weren’t nearly the player Danny was. But, better late than never. Congrats, Danny!
In my opinion Danny is the best qb we ever had. Yes even better than Tebow.
