Florida coach Jim McElwain is an admirer of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he would want to emulate some of the high-profile moves Harbaugh has made, including holding camps in other parts of the country and refusing to release his 2017 roster until later this week.
“Each guy is his own,” McElwain said. “He obviously felt that they needed to do some things to become relevant. That was his choice in doing it. It’s probably not something I’d do. That’s all right.”
