Florida’s 2018 class picked up its second verbal commitment in 24 hours from a highly recruited tight end.
Dante Lang, a 6-foot-5, 220-pounder from Boca Raton High, verbally committed to the Gators and coach Jim McElwain on Friday. Lang is spending the weekend in Gainesville for Friday Night Lights, Florida’s annual recruiting showcase.
Lang, who also plays defensive end at Boca Raton, is ranked the No. 122 overall prospect in the state of Florida by 247Sports.
With Lang’s commitment, which is non-binding until he signs a letter of intent, the Gators have 10 commits in the 2018 class.
