UF cornerback Williamson to transfer

Florida junior cornerback Chris Williamson has been granted his release and will transfer from the program, the Sun confirmed Thursday.
A 5-foot-11 prospect out of Gainesville, Georgia, Williamson played in nine games as a sophomore and recorded five tackles last season. As a freshman, Williamson appeared in five games as a reserve defensive back and on special teams.
