Jake Fruhmorgen, an offensive line transfer from Clemson who enrolled in classes at Florida on Monday, has decided to give up football, The Sun confirmed Friday.
UF coach Jim McElwain will not comment on any roster changes until he speaks at SEC Media Days on July 11 in Hoover, Ala.
A four-star recruit coming out of Tampa Plant, Fruhmorgen played in 11 games as a true freshman at Clemson in 2015 and started eight games this past season. Per NCAA transfer rules, he would have to sit out the 2017 season at UF.
