Florida and Tennessee will play multiple times for the first time since the 2013-14 season when the Gators swept UT in three meetings.
The SEC announced the 2018-19 men’s basketball opponent breakdowns Wednesday. In addition to the Gators’ three permanent home-and-home opponents — Kentucky, Georgia and Vanderbilt — they will also see Tennessee and LSU twice next season.
The Gators host four teams in their only meeting this season: Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina and Texas A&M.
Florida travels to visit the remaining four SEC opponents: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn and Mississippi State.
UF and LSU last had a home-and-home in 2016, the Gators’ first season under Mike White, with the home team taking both games.
The full SEC schedule will be released later this summer.
Are we playing any international teams this summer? I think you can do that every 3 years!
With the SEC games and non-conference opponents we know about, the Gators seemingly will have one of the top 10-15 most difficult schedules in the country. Oh, s**t, now White has some built-in excuses for losing.
