Chiozza named Cousy Award finalist


Florida senior point guard Chris Chiozza was named as one of 10 finalists for the Bob Cousy Award, given to the top college point guard in the nation.

Chiozza leads the SEC in assists (6.0 apg) and assist-to-turnover ratio (3.48-1), while ranking second in the league in steals (1.96 spg). The Memphis native also is averaging 12.3 points per game and shooting 38.6 percent from 3-point range.

For his career, Chiozza currently ranks fourth in UF’s all-time list in assists (502) and seventh in steals (171).
