Four-star 2018 point guard Devon Dotson has rescheduled his official visit to Florida for this weekend when the Gators host Tennessee in football.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Dotson, from Providence Day School in Charlotte, N.C., was originally supposed to visit UF last week, but canceled the trip due to the threat of Hurricane Irma. Dotson has received offers from Florida, Kansas, Miami and Maryland, though the Gators could sell immediate playing time with senior point guard Chris Chiozza departing before the start of next season.
Overall, it will be a busy recruiting weekend for the Gators. In addition to Dotson, Florida will be hosting four-star point guard prospect Elijah Weaver and four-star 6-11 forward/center Colin Castleton on official visits. Castleton is from Daytona Beach, while Weaver, an Albany, Ga., native, plays at Oldsmar Christian School in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.
