Three players instrumental in Florida’s back-to-back basketball national titles in 2006 and 2007 highlight this year’s University of Florida Hall of Fame Class.
Corey Brewer, Al Horford and Joakim Noah are among inductees announced by the University of Florida F Club and Gator Boosters, Inc.
Other inductees include former UF All-American wide receiver Jacquez Green, former standout first baseman and two-time SEC baseball player of the year Matt LaPorta, former All-American golf standout Matt Every, former All-American volleyball standout Benavia Jenkins, former tennis standout Alexis Gordon and formergolf coach Buddy Alexander, who guided the Gators to two national championships and eight SEC titles before retiring.
The nine-member class will be honored at an induction ceremony on Sept. 15 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
