What a great start for Kendrick. You can’t much better than that in baseball. Not mentioned in the article is the other “co” dude: Co-Freshman of the Week: JT Ginn, Mississippi State – Mississippi State’s JT Ginn earned his second-straight victory with seven shutout innings vs. No. 21 Southern Miss on Saturday afternoon. The right-hander allowed just two hits and walked one batter, while striking out a career-high nine batters. I think I’d rather have had Calilao’s weekend.
