HOOVER, Ala. — The Florida-Arkansas SEC Tournament baseball game scheduled for Thursday night was postponed until Friday at 11 a.m. ET. Florida will be the home team for Friday’s game.

The winner of UF-Arkansas will advance to Saturday’s semifinal. The loser will face LSU in an elimination game Friday night.

All games will be carried by the SEC Network.

Had the UF-Arkansas game been played Thursday night, the Gators were going to start freshman pitcher Jack Leftwich. UF coach Kevin O’Sullivan changed plans and the Gators announced they will have junior righty Jackson Kowar (9-3, 3.01 ERA) on the mound.

Weather delays and the two earlier games going into extra innings messed with the day’s schedule. The third game between Auburn and Texas A&M didn’t start until 8:55 p.m., with the Aggies winning late. Ole Miss eliminated Georgia 5-4 in 10 innings and LSU ousted South Carolina 6-4 in 12 innings earlier Thursday.
