A week after winning a matchup against Auburn’s Casey Mize, the two pitchers will share SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week honors. Singer threw the first complete-game shutout of his career while Mize matched an Auburn record with 15 strikeouts. Singer improved to 10-1 on the season, leading the SEC in wins, and lowered his ERA to 2.33, third in the SEC.
Singer is the fourth UF player to be honored this season by the conference. Wil Dalton, Jonthan India and JJ Schwarz have all been named SEC Player of the Week this year.
