Ranked the No. 29 cornerback in the 2021 class in 247Sports’ composite ranking, Young recently picked up offers from Georgia and West Virginia, just several weeks after attending Florida’s Junior Day in early February. His commitment gives UF 20 pledges in the 2021 class, which is now ranked No. 3 in 247Sports’ class ranking.
Young is the Gators’ third commitment in the last four days, joining safety Dakota Mitchell and defensive back Kamar Wilcoxson.
