Florida’s 2020 class landed one of the top uncommitted athletes in the nation Friday afternoon.
Marc Britt, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound wide receiver/athlete out of Miami Christian School, verbally committed to the Gators over offers from Nebraska, Penn State and Miami.
“I would like to thank my whole coaching staff and team for allowing me to have a better opportunity to play for Miami Christian. My parents are the main reason why I have gotten to where I am today,” Britt wrote on his Twitter account. “I want to give a special thanks to Coach Dennis, you’re the best. After talking this over with my family, coaches and teammates, it was a hard decision but this is the best decision for me. With that being said I will be committing to the University of Florida.”
Ranked the No. 11 athlete in the 2020 class in the 247Sports composite and the No. 47 overall prospect from the state of Florida, Britt’s commitment brings UF’s class to No. 10 on 247Sports.
With Britt’s commitment, which is non-binding until he signs a letter of intent, the Gators hold commitments from 20 prospects in the 2020 class.
