      • Yeah, some fans look at Urban Meyer year two in 2006. What you have to remember there is that the offense wasn’t great that year. What was great, one of the greatest all time, was the defense. Meyer is a great coach but he was lucky to have inherited that defense and defensive coordinator Strong, not to mention a lot of talent on offense. This Gator team this year still has a lot to play for and Mullen has done a great job turning around the offense. We still have a way to go but we are well on our way.

      • I’m with you guys. Being in the playoff conversation was nice while it lasted, but I suppose it was a little too much to ask in year two. Still, to lose only two games and have them be to top 6 teams would be a special season in my book. Of course, there’s still business to take care of to make that happen.

  1. Stoops…Schmoops!

The moniker “Big Game” is only true if taken in the context of losing them. With the exception of the 13-2 beatdown on the Noles in the 2000 BCS natty game, which if truth be told I can still see the “Mommy I think I wet myself!” look on good old Boobie’s face, what “big” games did Stoops win?

Let them have the old retread. I’m with CDM!
