Fans who want to catch a glimpse of incoming 2018 Florida freshman point guard Andrew Nembhard can do so again this Sunday.
Nembhard is among a group of 26 elite high school seniors that will be participating in the Jordan Brand Classic on Sunday afternoon at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 5 p.m. and will air on ESPN2.
Nembhard is the first five-star signee the Gators have landed in Florida coach Mike White’s three-year tenure. The Ontario, Canada native played this past season at Montverde Academy outside Orlando, where he helped lead the private school to Geico High School Basketball Nationals prep school title last week. Nembhard had 13 assists in the title game.
The 6-foot-4 Nembhard is one of the candidates to replace departed senior Chris Chiozza at point guard next season, along with rising senior combo guard KeVaughn Allen and rising sophomore point guard Mike Okauru.
