The Florida Gators have become a player for elite defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson, but they still have ground to make up.
The consensus top-100 overall recruit from Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove released his 10 finalists Saturday.
Ohio and Auburn are listed as co-leaders, followed by Georgia, Southern Cal and UF, a school that had not been in the picture with Jackson until this summer.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pounder camped at Florida last month and came away impressed, praising defensive line coach Chris Rumph and planing a return visit to Gainesville.
Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Ole Miss and South Carolina round out Jackson’s top 10. He plans to decide on a college during his senior season.
