Here’s a look at what some of Florida’s recruits over the weekend in the high school football world.

COMMITMENTS

Quarterback
Jeff Driskel — Driskel impressed again by going 13 of 17 for 186 yards and three touchdowns through the air. He also added 92 yards rushing with two touchdowns off eight carries in Oviedo Hagerty’s 41-12 win over Lyman.

Fullback
Hunter Joyer — Joyer was held to 19 yards rushing in a 35-14 upset loss by Tampa Catholic to Berkeley Prep.

Wide Receiver
Ja’Juan Story — Story went 3 for 4 passing for 47 yards and ran the ball nine times for 77 yards and rushed for touchdowns of 42 and 23 yards in Brooksville Nature Coast’s 38-7 win over Springstead.

Javares McRoy — McRoy caught four passes for 86 yards, including two touchdowns in Lakeland’s 24-13 win over Winter Haven.

Defensive Back
De’Ante “Pop” Saunders — On offense, Saunders ran the ball 24 times for 165 yards and added two touchdowns.

Louchiez Purifoy — Purifoy touched the ball 20 times in some capacity on offense for 133 yards (123 rushing) in Pensacola Pine Forest’s 17-0 win over Washington.

Valdez Showers — As a running back, he piled up 179 yards on scoring plays, including one that went for 68 yards in Madison Heights, Mich., Madison’s 59-41 win over St. Clair Shores, Mich., Lake Shore.

RECRUITS OF INTEREST

Running Back
Mike Blakely — Blakely carried the ball 18 times for 188 yards and four touchdowns, including a long of 63 yards. He also completed a pass for 16 yards in Bradenton Manatee’s 56-36 win over Palmetto.

Savon Huggins — Huggins had 205 yards on 18 carries and scored touchdowns on runs of 62, 14 and 2 yards in Jersey City, N.J., St. Peter’s Prep’s 35-7 win over Philadelphia, Pa., St. Joseph’s Prep. The game was at Rutgers University, the presumed leader for Huggins.

Mike Bellamy — Bellamy rushed the ball 19 times for 229 yards and two touchdowns of 10 and 3 yards in Punta Gorda Charlotte’s 40-0 win over Fort Myers Riverdale.

Wide Receiver/Tight End
George Farmer — Farmer didn’t catch a pass until the fourth quarter, but finished with two catches for 101 yards and a touchdown that went 81 yards. He also carried the ball once for 15 yards in Gardena, Calif., Junipero Serra’s 37-17 win over Redondo Union.

Damiere Byrd — Byrd rushed for two touchdowns of 63 yards and 2 yards in Sicklerville, N.J., Timer Creek’s 28-14 win over Cumberland Regional

Brandon Fulse — The tight end caught a touchdown pass in Fort Meade’s 42-6 win over Indian Rocks Christian.

Linebacker
Curtis Grant — Grant recorded 15 tackles in Richmond, Va., Hermitage’s 27-8 win over Lee-Davis.

Tony Steward — Steward had rushing scores of 5 and 4 yards, but St. Augustine Pedro Menendez lost to Nease 21-20.

Lamar Dawson — Dawson recorded nine tackles in Danville, Kent., Boyle County’s 42-10 win over Corbin.
