Really, Kadarious Toney only got six touches in the game? He is the only receiver starting with Powell and Cleveland, and deserves major minutes (the rest of the receivers are backups)! Florida CANNOT AFFORD NOT TO HAVE TONEY ON THE FIELD MORE, and defenses need to have no clue of when he’s in the game a special play is being called for him. Malik Davis is the number one running back, as he is hitting the hole much faster and making people miss! Del Rio is the ONLY QB for Florida. Football is a team sport and Del Rio MAKES THE GATORS PLAY AS A TEAM. He was coaching the line in the fourth quarter and telling them how to block against Kentucky’s defensive schemes. BTW, Chris Doering and Gene Chizek POINTED OUT how Del Rio became the field manager–no other Gator QB is even close!!!!
No doubt Toney needs more touches. Yes LDR is the starting QB. Defense has got to play better. Just curious about Dre Massey not getting touches. He was being heavily touted as a play maker last year. Am I missing something here? Also did anyone see the hold on Johnny Townsend and the block in the back trying to cover his punt return? That no-call allowed that 59 yd return and UK’s second score.
Whoa Gator Nation! Toney for Heisman? Davis the best back in the Nation? LDR anointed as the starter the rest of the way leading the team back to Atlanta?
OK, I won’t rain on your parade. Who cares about a very small sample size. It could all very well happen, right? Enjoy the win and giddy about the possibilities.
