POSITION: Kicker, punter


HEIGHT: 5-foot-2

A rea football player I would pay to watch play: Nick Oelrich, Newberry. He was a real good teammate. I know he is going to go far and do well over there.

B est movie I've ever seen: “Friday Night Lights.”

C oach's words of advice for me: You have 24 hours to get over a game and 24 seconds to get over a kick. That was from a coach at an eighth-grade kicking camp.

D efeating what opponent has made me or will make me the happiest? Oak Hall. I went there for eight years.

E asiest part of my school day: AP Bio, because he makes everything easy to understand and I love enviromental science.

F avorite type of music: Pretty much anything, but I really like country and Imagine Dragons.

G irls playing football, have you been more accepted over the years? Definitely. Everyone has been really accepting. As a senior, more people look up to you whether you are a girl or a guy.

Note: According to latest National Federation of State High School Associations survey (from 2012-2013), 33 girls in Florida played football.

H ow did you get interested in kicking the football for the Wolves? It was the only way my parents would let me play football.

I nteresting thing about me away from football: I like kayaking and fishing, anything outside.

J oker on the team: All the guys make practice very interesting, but Brenden Abrams and Rhett Mayton are the two funniest.

K ey to juggling sports and academics: Diligence and don't be afraid to pass up a party. I skipped the prom to study for the SAT.

L east favorite sport to watch: Baseball, it is too slow.

M y happiest day was when ... We crushed Oak Hall last year at homecoming. This year we play them on their homecoming.

N eatest electronic toy or gadget I have: My iPhone.

O ne person in my life who inspires me most: My family, my parents and my sisters.

P otential college major: Environmental science.

Q uiet-time activity: Reading or hanging out with my family.

R eady for your final season kicking for St. Francis? Sad to see it go, but excited about the future.

S uperstition I have: I wear my St. Sebastian necklace, I've worn it all four years. And I sing the song “Chicken Fried” on repeat before the game.

T witter, Facebook or Instagram? All of them, but probably Instagram is my favorite.

U niversities or colleges considering: I was invited to Princeton and Yale's junior recruit day. I have met with the coaches from MIT, Williams College and Dartmouth.

V acation spot I love: Marco Island. We are going there this weekend.

W hat did you think of Mo'ne Davis, the 13-year-old female pitcher from Philadelphia who graced the cover of Sports Illustrated and had national TV interviews after throwing a shutout at the Little League World Series? I think that it is fantastic. I hope she continues to pitch and has continued success.

X box, PlayStation or Wii? None of the above, I do not have time.

Z oo animal I like most: Hyena, because they laugh at everything.
