SIBLING RIVALRY ON DISPLAY

Two of playwright Sam Shepard’s most compelling characters, the Hollywood screenwriter Austin (Mike McShane) and his older brother Lee (George Steven O’Brien), come to life in the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre’s production of “True West.” Shepard’s story of

sibling rivalry continues through Sept. 7 at the theater.

Earfilms’ “To Sleep To Dream,” an audio production that relies solely on 3-D sound to tell its futuristic story about the one city that survives a flood, runs today through Friday at the Phillips Center’s Squitieri Studio Theatre. Discount tickets are available for performances today and Tuesday.
