Give God your full attention

When we spend too much time concerning ourselves about what others say, what others think or how others feel about us, we are not focusing enough time on our God, who is worthy of all of our attention.
The Bible tells us in Colossians 1:16: "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him."
Therefore, HE alone should receive all of our praise BECAUSE all things were created by Him and for Him — and not them.
This is not a man's world nor a woman's world, but this is God's world and we should not be wasting time focusing on how others feel, what they say about us, or how they feel.
Let us remember that nothing anyone says about us, thinks about us or feels about us, has the power to influence our life unless we let it. Therefore, let us focus on the One who can not only allow us to do exceedingly above all we ask or think, but can fulfill our life with abundance, good health, prosperity and peace.
Let us be reminded that God did not create us to satisfy them, but He created us to satisfy Him. When God said it was not good for man to be alone, He simply wanted man to have a companion who was man's equal. However, God never meant for man to have a desire to please his companion more than having a desire to please Him.
Adam was never created to satisfy or live for Eve, and neither were we created to live for and satisfy others, but both were created to live for and satisfy God — and so are we.
God wants us to have companions and friends, but nothing should ever come before Him.
Let me conclude by saying this: Once we take our focus off of them and put it on Him, our life will be more pleasant, joyful and satisfying, and in line with the way that our God wants us to live.
The great scientist Albert Einstein once said: "If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things."
I don't know about you, but my goal is to satisfy and please Jesus, and I have never been happier.
Romans 11:36 says: "For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen."
