14 … Yards covered on Florida's first touchdown in the 2007 BCS national title game.

Everyone remembers how it started, with Ted Ginn Jr. returning the opening kickoff for a 93-yard touchdown in Glendale, Ariz.

Not much went right for Ohio State after that, including an injury suffered by Ginn during the celebration. But the best thing that happened to the Gators was the ensuing drive that sapped all of the momentum the Buckeyes had snatched on the kickoff return.

It started with a 33-yard kickoff return by Brandon James and a 15-yard facemask penalty. From the Ohio State 49-yard line, Chris Leak surgically attacked the Ohio State defense.

He completed all five of his pass attempts on the drive for 35 yards. It ended in the end zone.

From the 14-yard line, Leak was supposed to find Dallas Baker on a slant pattern. But the Ohio State defender jumped the route. Leak double-pumped and Baker went deep. It was an an easy touchdown.

The score was vital because it showed that the Gators could handle adversity and that they had a plan for Ohio State's salty defense. Leak finished the game 25-of-36 for 213 yards as Florida won 41-14.
